Digital Signatures (DocuSign) Tutorials and Resources

Units and committees may find it necessary to get signatures to approve a document or acknowledge its receipt. ECU supports the use of DocuSign, which is a software that allows a sender to insert form fields in the signature and date lines of documents and to send a request for digital signature through email. This is a useful tool, especially when you need signatures to be gathered in a particular order, or when you cannot simply send the document through email because it contains sensitive data. The document is referred to as an “envelope” that is sent to the necessary parties. There are also options for sending copies of the document to people who do not need to sign.

To use DocuSign, the person who will be sending the documents out for your unit/committee should submit an ITCS HelpDesk ticket.
