Faculty Counselors
Faculty Counselors are non-administrative faculty currently employed at ECU who have served in leadership roles as elected Faculty Officers or on specific University academic or appellate committees. These faculty members have experience with appellate procedures and may advise a faculty grievant regarding the substance and statement of the Petition for Redress of an alleged grievance and ECU policies and procedures applying to the grievance. Following their advisement, these counselors have no further role in the grievance process and do not participate in appellate hearings.
Faculty grievants are encouraged to select a counselor from the below list and contact him or her to inquire of their availability to assist the grievant prior to submitting formal material to a University appellate committee. Please note that not all listed below are available to assist throughout the academic year.
Please feel free to call the Faculty Senate office at 328-6537 if you have any questions.
